Rich Wilde and the Tome of Madness is a cascading video slots game that is played on a 5 X 5 grid. Symbols will drop down into a grid in order to form winning combinations. Wins are achieved by getting 4 or more symbols in a connected cluster (where they touch each other horizontally and / or vertically). Winning symbols are removed after a gain and new symbols will then drop into the grid. The game continues to cascade until no new winning combinations are able to be created.

Eye Marks Feature

Eye Marks will appear in random positions. In order to open an eye, a winning combination is to be formed in the location of the Eye Mark. When all wins are exhausted, 2 SPECIAL WILDS will be added to the grid.

Portal Feature

Winnings will charge the portal in order to activate certain features:

  • After winning on 7 symbols: 2 SPECIAL WILDS will be added to the grid;
  • After winning on 14 symbols: 2 SPECIAL WILDS will be added to the grid and the ABYSS Portal Effect will be activated if a win is achieved with a SPECIAL WILD; and
  • After winning on 27 symbols: 2 SPECIAL WILDS will be added to the grid. Should a win be achieved with a SPECIAL WILD, the VOID Portal Effect will be triggered.

The game continues as normal after the effects.

The ABYSS removes a row or column from the winning SPECIAL WILD symbol. The symbols removed will contribute further towards charging the Portal. Should the ABYSS remove another SPECIAL WILD, the removal will also be initiated from that symbol.

The VOID will select 1 regular symbol (at random) and remove all matching such symbols from the grid.

Other World Free Round Feature

The OTHER WORLD FREE ROUND Feature will be triggered after winning on 42 symbols. The player will be awarded with 1 free round with 3 random Portal Effects.

Should the portal be over-charged, an additional Portal Effect will be added for every 3 additional winning symbols collected – up to a maximum of 7 Portal Effects.

During this feature, a Portal Effect will be triggered when all wins are exhausted.

The Portal Effects are:

  1. SPECIAL WILDS: 4 SPECIAL WILDS will be added to the grid;

 

  1. THE ABYSS: 4 SPECIAL WILDS will be added to the grid. If a win is achieved with a SPECIAL WILD, the ABYSS Portal Effect will be triggered; and

 

  1. THE VOID: 4 SPECIAL WILDS will be added to the grid. If a win is achieved with any SPECIAL WILD, the VOID Portal Effect will be triggered.

11 Or 12 Eye Marks are visible in the OTHER WORLD FREE ROUND. In order to open an eye, the player is to achieve a winning combination within the eye’s location. When all eyes are opened, the MEGA WILD Cthulhu Symbol will be added to the grid (and will move down with each cascade, before disappearing). Cascades will continue until all wins are exhausted.
