Diamond Vortex is a grid slot that is played on a hexagonal grid.

Should the game round be disrupted, all information and placed bets will be stored until the game is re-opened (the unfinished game may be continued from the point of interruption). Unresolved bets placed and remaining undecided upon (in incomplete games) will become void after 90 days. Malfunction voids all pays and plays.

Payline wins will occur on a number of selected paylines, in accordance with the information that is displayed in the Paytable and the Game Rules. When winning on multiple paylines in a single game round, all winnings will be summed together.

Cluster Pays

Symbols will drop into the grid in order to create wins. 6 Or more adjacently connected symbols in a cluster will award the player with a win. Only the highest win in the cluster will produce payment to the gamer. Winning symbols will then be removed and new symbols will cascade down into the empty gaps. Multiple clusters of the same symbol that are not connected, will be paid out as separate clusters.

The game features 3 concentric rings and each ring contains a Zone and a Spot:

  • Zones are fixed in place (at the top of each ring); and
  • Spots start at the bottom of each ring and rotate along the ring, until reaching the Zone.

 

Wild Symbols

There are 2 Wild Symbols (a Sticky Wild and a Core Wild) which will substitute all other symbols, barring the Zone, Spot and Bonus Symbols.

The Core Wild Symbol is a permanent fixture to the center of the grid. The Sticky Wild Symbol may appear on the grid during any cascade of regular symbols.

Rotate Feature

This feature is triggered upon every win. Before new symbols manifest, the inner ring will rotate clockwise, whilst the center ring rotates anti-clockwise, and the outer ring will rotate clockwise.

All current symbols on the rings will move in sync with the applicable direction of the attached section.

Zones are always static and never move.

Consume Feature

This feature allows the gamer to increase the Multiplier (up to a maximum of x 20 and is only applicable to Core Wild Wins – each time that a Sticky Wild is consumed by a Core Wild). Whenever a Sticky Wild Symbol forms part of a winning cluster, it will hop into an adjacent ring (always moving closer to the Core Wild). The Core Wild will absorb the Sticky Wild on its final move.

Transform Feature

During this feature a symbol will be randomly selected (excluding Wild & Bonus Symbols).

After all winning clusters are achieved, the feature will transform all regular symbols on the ring into the randomly selected symbol (creating a new winning cluster).

This feature is triggered when a Spot reaches the Zone on its ring.

All Spots will be reset once the outer ring has transformed.

Free Spins Feature

The Free Spins Feature enables the Core Wild Multiplier, as well as the Spot progression to carry over across multiple spins, rather than resetting after each spin.

Once a Bonus Symbol is collected in a Zone, the game waits until all winning clusters are achieved and then triggers this feature.
