Casino Rama has continued to expand its shows repertoire by adding two additional concerts to its entertainment schedule.
Casino Rama has announced that it will be adding two more concerts to its January entertainment schedule. Canadian rock icons Honeymoon Suite and Kim Mitchell are now set to feature at the casino’s entertainment centre reopening festivities taking place in a few weeks’ time.
Live shows at the casino were put on hold in March 2020 as a result of the pandemic. Subsequently, the entire property was shut down, with the casino reopening this summer, as Ontario moved to stage three of its reopening plan. Now, live entertainment can also make an official return.
Enhanced Repertoire
Kim Mitchell and Honeymoon Suite shows are scheduled at Casino Rama’s entertainment centre on Saturday, 22 January. The rock shows will start at 8 pm, with the doors opening an hour earlier. Ticket prices start at CA$49 and will be available for purchase from 1 December at noon. Tickets can be purchased at the casino or by calling 1-877-599-7262.
Guests should be advised that there will be safety guidelines in place that must be adhered to. To gain entry, attendees must present proof of complete vaccination as well as government-issued photo identification. The casino informs that patrons will have to wear face masks while inside the property, except when consuming food or beverages.
Casino Rama, which is operated by Gateway Casinos and Entertainment, was closed for an extended period due to the emergence of the unprecedented health situation. After closing in March 2020, the casino was able to reopen its doors on 29 July. Once it started operating again, the casino didn’t return with a complete set of services, offering only slot games and partial food amenities.
Fallsview Also Welcomes Back Live Shows
Another Ontario gambling hotspot will soon renew its live entertainment programme, with Niagara Fallsview Casino announcing several new shows. The resort will finally be able to welcome guests at its spanking-new 5,000-seat Avalon Ballroom. This will mark the first time that this venue will host a live entertainment show.
