SBC has announced that it will be hosting this year’s Digital North America summit, covering the latest sports betting developments in Canada and the United States.
The Digital North America 2021 summit will be hosted by SBC and will exhibit the latest developments from the world of sports betting and iGaming in Canada and the United States. The conference will take place in June, bringing together industry leaders in an open forum where industry growth strategies will be discussed.
The SBC Digital North America conference will be the largest industry-related event since December’s Betting on Sports America Digital conference, which SBC also organised. Since then, the market segment has seen significant shifts, with new regulations, fresh market openings and several acquisitions and mergers taking place.
Online Conference
Due to the current pandemic restrictions, the event will be held online from 9 – 10 June. The conference will be attended by gaming operators, affiliates, suppliers, sports leagues, and teams. The regulators will get a chance to discuss plans and ideas for further developing the market space in North America.
Topics of the discussions will include how US sports operators can build on their current success, challenges of growing competition, changes in state and provincial regulations, and taking advantage of the rapidly expanding iGaming industry. Furthermore, operatives will discuss how the industry can develop a sustainable gambling strategy and how new technologies will influence the industry.
The conference will include big industry names such as Adam Greenblatt, who is CEO of BetMGM, CEO of theScore John Levy, Daniel Graetzer, representing the Carousel Group, President of Rush Street Interactive, Richard Schwartz, and Director of Government Affairs for FanDuel, Andrew Winchell.
SBC Vice President for Growth & Strategy, Sue Schneider, noted that the rate of development of the North American gaming market is brisk and brings with it many new opportunities. Schneider is confident that the video conference will be a good platform for industry executives to share current experiences and discuss new growth possibilities within an expanding industry framework.
