Scientific Games has broadened its partnership with Loto-Quebec by debuting its AGS brand on the Canadian market.
Loto-Quebec and Scientific Games continue to expand their already fruitful partnership by announcing that the latter will be launching its AGS brand of services on the Canadian market through its OpenGaming™ platform. AGS debut in Canada will allow local players to enjoy its comprehensive portfolio of iGaming solutions.
Over the years, AGS has established itself as a top supplier of gaming equipment and provides high-quality table games, cabinets, and associated gear. AGS’s interactive department offers trademark online iGaming and social services to gamblers and partner firms alike.
Official Debut
The debut of the new gaming brand will be executed via Scientific Games’ OpenGaming™ platform. The platform has access to over 3,000 game titles from the gambling industry’s most prominent third-party supplier. Additionally, the company’s in-house games will be available through the system, with the first launched title being the exciting and cartoonish Rakin’ Bacon!
AGS Executive Vice President of Operation, Matt Reback, stated that the company’s introduction to the Canadian market is the next strategic step for the provider as it grows its global presence. He noted his excitement that Rakin’ Bacon! is its first game launched for Loto-Quebec and that he looks forward to seeing how the rest of the titles will be accepted.
Stéphane Martel, acting senior director for products and innovation at Loto-Quebec, noted that this agreement is another excellent example of the company’s successful relationship with Scientific Games. She added that the OpenGaming™ platform is an ideal channel for distributing various gaming content to end-users.
Scientific Games’ commercial director for Canada and Latin America, Marc Crean, welcomed AGS as the newest partner of the company’s OpenGaming™ platform in Canada. Crean expects that the supplier’s content will be an instant hit among Loto-Quebec’s gambling fans and other partners.
BCLC Extension
Last year, Scientific Games inked another valuable partnership deal with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC). This has come as excellent news for the province’s gamblers as the supplier will continue to provide innovative gaming content to the BCLC’s official PlayNow.com platform. The new deal is expected to extend both companies’ collaboration to at least 2024.
