The British Columbia Lottery Corporation has announced a partnership deal with Greentube, a pioneering gaming service provider and game developer.
Greentube, a major European Union game developer and service provider, has entered into a partnership with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), thus launching its offering for the first time on the Canadian market. Subsequently, the BCLC will gain access to Greentube’s impressive online gambling portfolio, adding further variety to its playnow.com platform.
Greentube is a part of NOVOMATIC Interactive and offers regulated casino entertainment services globally. Its gaming portfolio includes top-of-the-range video slots, table games, standard and AWP reloaded slots, server-based gaming, video bingo, social casino offerings, and much more. The company offers mobile, online, and in-person gambling options.
Debuting in Canada
The BCLC, which oversees all regulated gambling activities in the provinces of British Columbia and Manitoba, will soon be offering local gambling fans additional quality content—starting with firm favourites like Lucky Lady’s Charm™ deluxe, Book of Ra™ deluxe, and Sizzling Hot™ deluxe, as well as the developer’s Diamond Link series.
Greentube’s content has been made available via an integration with the OpenGaming system from Scientific Games. As a result, local players can soon expect even more titles on PlayNow.com. All indication is that this is the start of a very promising collaboration, with further expansion across the North American market expected.
Greentube’s CFO, Michael Bauer, stated the studio’s penetration into the Canadian market through the BCLC deal is a critical step for the company as the Crown corporation is the first company in the region to launch their content. In his words, this is a strategic move for the company’s North American market plans.
Bauer explained that the deal is a clear commitment to the regulated Canadian gaming market since the developer supplies only accredited operators.
