Best Casino Rewards Programs in Canada: Loyalty and VIP Schemes Compared
Every online casino says it rewards loyalty. Very few explain what a point is actually worth, how fast you earn one, or what happens to your balance when you stop playing. We compare the best casino rewards programs for Canadian players, list every casino in the Casino Rewards network, and show you how to work out whether a loyalty scheme is giving you anything back at all.

The short version
- Best tested loyalty program: JackpotCity. Points convert to bonus credits, and our Interac cash-out landed in 36 hours.
- Casino Rewards is a network, not a single casino. One VIP account and one status level carry across all of its member sites.
- Ontario and Alberta run their own regulated markets. The offers above do not apply there.
- A loyalty point is only worth what it converts to. Most programs return well under 1% of what you wager, so never play longer to chase a tier.
What is Casino Rewards? The network and its member casinos
When Canadians search for casino rewards, they are often looking for one specific thing: the Casino Rewards loyalty network. It has run since 2000 and links a group of online casinos under a single VIP program. Open an account at any member casino and your status and points follow you to the others.
How the Casino Rewards loyalty program works
One account across the network
Your VIP status is shared by every member casino, so you do not start again at the bottom when you try a new site in the group.
Six status levels
The network describes six status levels, with benefits increasing as you play more.
Points become casino credit
VIP points are earned on real-money play and can be redeemed straight into your casino account.
Shared game library
Member casinos run largely the same games, including progressive jackpots such as Mega Moolah. See how progressive jackpots work.

Casino Rewards bonuses and free spins
Casino Rewards member casinos are known for low-deposit welcome packages, where a small first deposit unlocks free spins and later deposits unlock match bonuses. They look generous, but the cost sits in the playthrough. Low-deposit offers on this network have historically carried far higher wagering than a standard match bonus, so read the wagering requirement, maximum bet and expiry before you accept anything.
- Compare low-deposit offers in our guide to C$1 deposit casinos.
- Run any offer through the casino bonus calculator to see how much you need to wager.

Casino Rewards in Ontario
Ontario regulates online gambling through the AGCO and iGaming Ontario, and you must be 19 or older to play. Several Casino Rewards brands run separate Ontario-regulated sites with their own accounts and terms, and your status on an offshore member site does not carry over. Check that a brand is registered with iGaming Ontario before you sign up, and see our list of licensed online casinos in Ontario. Free, confidential support lines for every province and territory are on our Responsible Gambling page.
Casino Rewards in Alberta
Alberta opened its own regulated online market on 13 July 2026, and the AiGC directory is the only reliable source for which brands are licensed there. Golden Tiger Casino, a Casino Rewards member, is among the brands on the directory. Confirm any casino against the directory before playing, and see our Alberta online casinos page and iGaming Alberta Act guide. If gambling stops being fun, call 211 Alberta.
Casino loyalty program breakdowns
What each program on our list offers, based on our reviews. Payout times come from Dean Smith's real-money testing where we have it.
1. JackpotCity: best tested loyalty program
JackpotCity rewards loyalty through points and achievements rather than a long list of named tiers. You collect points on cash wagers, level up by completing achievements and convert points into bonus credits inside your account. New players also get spins on the Mega Money Wheel, which carries real jackpot prizes.
When Dean tested JackpotCity, his Interac withdrawal landed in 36 hours after a 24-hour reversible pending period. Weekly withdrawals are capped at around C$4,000, and the welcome bonus is for slots only.
JackpotCity loyalty point codes do not exist
Pages advertising free loyalty point codes or voucher codes for JackpotCity are fake. Points come from real-money play only, and entering an invented code does nothing.

2. Ruby Fortune: rewards from day one
Ruby Fortune has operated since 2003, and its VIP program starts rewarding you from registration. Points build with every real-money wager and can be exchanged for bonus credits, with higher levels bringing more personal offers and faster earning. It is also one of the few long-running casinos with full French support, which matters for players in Quebec.
The weak spot is the welcome bonus and its 70x wagering. If you play regularly, the loyalty program is likely to give you more over time than the sign-up offer. Dean's Interac cash-out completed in just under 48 hours.

3. Spin Casino: loyalty plus a sportsbook
Spin Casino sits in the same operator group as JackpotCity and Ruby Fortune, so its loyalty program follows a familiar pattern: points from normal play, tiers that unlock faster earning, and personalised offers as you climb. The difference is Spin Sports, which runs on the same account and wallet as the casino.
Our rating draws on testing across the operator group rather than a separate Spin Casino deposit test. Recreational, low-stakes players tend to rate it well, while complaints usually involve large wins and bonus play, so read the terms carefully if you plan to play with a bonus.

4. LeoVegas: VIP program for regular players
LeoVegas, owned by MGM Resorts, moves loyal players into a VIP program with promotions built around how each person plays. Regular deposit bonuses are open to everyone, so you do not need VIP status to get ongoing value, and its mobile platform is one of the strongest in the market.
We have not tested LeoVegas with real money. Our review is an editorial assessment, and it flags withdrawals of 5 to 7 working days, which is slow next to the casinos above.
5. Jackpot Village: personal VIP host
Jackpot Village puts the emphasis on personal service. VIP players are assigned a host who keeps them updated on their status and tells them when they qualify for the next tier. The program has four tiers: Silver, Gold, Platinum and Elite.
We have not tested Jackpot Village with real money. Our review is an editorial assessment.

6. 888casino: comp points on every game
888casino has been online since 1997, is licensed in Gibraltar and is certified by eCOGRA. Every real-money game earns comp points that can be redeemed, and high-value players can be invited into the 888 VIP Casino Club, which adds a dedicated support team, events and personal promotions.

How casino loyalty programs work
Almost every program uses the same building blocks. Once you know them, you can compare any two schemes in a few minutes.
Earning rate
You earn a fixed number of points per real-money wager. Slots usually earn at the full rate, while table and live games often earn less or nothing. Bonus funds rarely earn points.
Tiers and status
Points push you up a ladder of levels. Higher levels can bring faster earning, better conversion rates, a personal host and higher withdrawal limits. Some programs drop you a level if you stop playing.
Redemption
Points convert into bonus credits, free spins or occasionally cash. Bonus credits may carry their own wagering requirement, which lowers their real value.
Expiry
Many programs cancel unused points after a period of inactivity. Redeem your balance before you take a break from playing.

| Reward type | How it pays | Best for | Our guide |
|---|---|---|---|
| Loyalty points | A small share of everything you wager, win or lose | Regular players at one casino | This page |
| Cashback | A share of net losses, often with little or no wagering | Players who want value without a playthrough | Casino cashback bonuses |
| Refer-a-friend | Bonus cash or spins for introducing a friend who deposits | Players with friends who also play online | Refer-a-friend casino bonuses |
| VIP programs | Invitation-only perks on top of points, such as hosts and faster cash-outs | High-volume players | Top casino VIP programs |
How to work out what a loyalty point is worth
Casinos describe their programs in points because points sound bigger than dollars. Turn them back into dollars and you can compare any two programs fairly.
Worked example, illustrative figures
Return rate = cash value of points earned ÷ amount wagered
Say a program pays 1 point for every C$10 wagered, and 100 points convert to C$1 in bonus credit.
- Wager C$1,000 and you earn 100 points.
- 100 points convert to C$1.
- Return rate: C$1 ÷ C$1,000 = 0.1%.
If those credits also carry wagering, the real value is lower still. Unless a program returns more than 0.5% to 1%, treat it as a small extra, not a reason to choose a casino.
How to get more from any casino rewards program
- Pick one or two casinos. Spreading play across many sites keeps you on the lowest level everywhere. A shared network such as Casino Rewards is the exception, since status carries across member sites.
- Play the games that earn at the full rate. Check the earning table before you play, not after.
- Redeem before points expire. Set a reminder if you only play occasionally.
- Prefer cash value. Points that convert to cash or wager-free credit are worth more than bonus money with a playthrough.
- Check payout speed. A generous program is worth little if withdrawals are slow. See how long casino withdrawals take.
- Stick to licensed casinos. Our safe online casinos in Canada guide explains what to check.
Loyalty programs and responsible gambling
Keep loyalty rewards in proportion
- Points only build through wagering, so chasing the next tier means spending more.
- Set a budget before you play and use the deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion tools every licensed casino provides.
- Read our bankroll management guide and responsible gambling page for support services across Canada.
- Alberta players can also call 211 for free, confidential support.
Casino rewards FAQs
Casino Rewards is a loyalty network that has run since 2000. It links a group of online casinos, including Zodiac Casino, Captain Cooks Casino and Yukon Gold Casino, under one VIP program, so your status and points carry across every member site.
The network lists 16 member casinos, including Zodiac Casino, Captain Cooks Casino, Yukon Gold Casino, Grand Mondial Casino, Golden Tiger Casino, Casino Classic, Luxury Casino and Quatro Casino. The full list is in the table above. Membership changes, so check the casino site before you register.
Several Casino Rewards brands run separate Ontario-regulated sites with their own accounts and terms, open to players aged 19 and over. Check that a brand is registered with iGaming Ontario before you sign up.
Many programs cancel unused points after a period of inactivity. Rules vary by casino, so check the loyalty terms and redeem your points before you take a break from playing.
Concentrate your play at one or two casinos, play games that earn points at the full rate, redeem points before they expire, and favour programs that convert points to cash or wager-free credit. Never play longer than planned just to reach a tier.
Tier credits, or status points, measure how much you play and decide your level in a loyalty program. Higher levels unlock benefits such as faster earning, better conversion rates and personal hosts. Tier credits usually cannot be spent, unlike redeemable points.
Yes. Every program on this page is free, and you are enrolled automatically when you register. You only earn points by wagering real money.
Yes. Licensed casinos record every deposit, wager and withdrawal. That data drives loyalty points and personal offers, and it also powers the deposit limits and safer gambling tools you can turn on in your account.
