Xpoint, a geolocation technology provider that specialises in iGaming and sports betting markets across North America, has announced its intention to sponsor this year’s Canadian Gaming Summit. The upcoming conference will take place at the Metro Toronto Convention Center from the seventh to the ninth of June 2022.

The Canadian Gaming Summit (CGS) is one of the focal gaming conventions in Canada. Every year, entrepreneurs from local and North American gaming industries come together to network, discuss innovations, and showcase their latest products and concepts. This year’s conference will be the 25th one since its launch.

Partnering for Canadian Gaming Summit 2022

Xpoint supplies intelligent location-based marketing insights and geolocation security solutions to the sports betting and iGaming markets globally. Xpoint’s CGS sponsorship announcement comes hot on the heels of its notice to go live in Canada. Xpoint plans to debut with its online gaming platform, which is earmarked for launch in June.

Additionally, the company has recently announced its first-ever award nominations, being shortlisted for the SBC North America Awards 2022. The corporation was nominated for the Rising Star in Sports Betting and Rising Star in Casino accolades. This further reaffirms the company’s ongoing expansion into Canada and the USA as a partner-focused, innovative geolocation technology provider.

Marvin Sanderson, CEO of Xpoint, noted his delight to partner with CGS, which is Canada’s most esteemed gaming event of the year. Sanderson believes this is a dynamic time for the provider, particularly in Canada, where the company’s first partnership offering will soon launch within Ontario’s new iGaming market for private operators.

Ontario’s newly regulated local iGaming market commenced on 4 April 2022, with over 20 gaming entities having so far gone live in the province. These include big names such as DraftKings, which debuted after acquiring a licence from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. Now, the operator lawfully offers its DraftKings Sportsbook app to local punters.
