Loto-Quebec long-running gaming TV show, La Poule aux Oeufs d’Or, is set to return this autumn in a fresh time slot, to the delight of loyal fans and followers of the programme.

La Poule aux Oeufs d’Or returns for another season this autumn and will be airing in a new time slot, each Thursday at 7 pm.  The popular hosts of the show, Sebastien Benoit and Julie Houle, will once again be bringing magic to our screens.

The 28th season of the show, which is set to commence on 15 October, comes in the familiar format, providing opportunities to individuals to win premium lottery products.  Participation in the show is guaranteed to all players who purchase the lottery product of the same name.

Launch Scheduled for 15 October

La Poule aux Oeufs d’Or has implemented extensive sanitary protocols required for the protection of the crew, as well as overall safe operations.  Due to the ongoing risk of the pandemic, no audience will be in attendance during the recordings.  However, each player will be allowed to invite one guest to spur them along.  The current season of La Poule aux Oeufs d’Or is scheduled to have 38 episodes, which is a decrease from the usual format of 45 shows.

Special Thursdays

The last time the show had been recorded at the studios was 12 March, before the coronavirus-related shutdown ensued.  As this year marks the 50th anniversary of Quebec’s gaming industry being overseen by a Crown Corporation, the TV show will include sizeable cash payouts to all lucky winners.  The planned jackpots for the first episode of the show currently stand at CA$150,000 in total.

Each jackpot carries a prize of CA$10,000 and lottery fans have the opportunity to become one of 15 lucky individuals to bag the winnings.  Additionally, upcoming holidays such as Halloween and Christmas will feature special editions of the show.  Also planned are two new game features, the machine à poule and le luxu-œufs.

The bonus games will offer an added element of excitement, benefiting players who have achieved doubles or triples in the roulette.  All participants are guaranteed cash prizes, and the only variation will be the size of these.  To take part, the player needs to purchase either the CA$5 La Poule aux Oeufs d’Or plus one or the CA$2 La Poule aux Oeufs d’Or.
