The new Cascades Casino development in Delta, BC, has partnered with Marriott Hotel as the official hotel operator of the gambling complex.

Gateway Casino & Entertainment has recently provided information on its Cascades Casino Delta project in British Columbia. The company noted that it had reached an agreement with a hotel operator for a hospitality facility in the soon-to-be-opened casino complex. A Delta Hotel by Marriott will form part of the complex located at the interchange of highways 17A and 99.

The new casino plans to include a 40,000-square-foot gaming floor, 600 slot machines and more than 30 gaming tables. In addition to the hotel, there will be several dining venues for patrons to enjoy. Construction of the new casino complex has already commenced, even though the development was previously affected by the ongoing pandemic, which has slowed down the construction significantly.

Great Location of the New Cascades Casino Delta

PR Hotels recently announced that it is excited to partake in its newest project in cooperation with Marriott Hotels and Gateway Casino & Entertainment.  The company noted that it is confident regarding the location, which is a mere 15 minutes from the Vancouver International Airport and a similar distance from Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal south of the new gambling complex.

Meridian Development representative, Karl Miller, noted that the partnership would have a beneficial effect on Delta. Miller stated that the development would attract tourists, conventions, and conferences from Canada and the United States. He also pointed out that Delta has chosen a superb location for its new hotel, adding to the existing benefits.

Although most of the details about the future hotel are currently unknown, the building application states that the hotel will be five storeys high and offer meeting rooms with a 120-seat capacity. The hotel will feature trade-mark brands such as Match Eatery & Public House and Atlas Steak & Fish Restaurant.

The casino project is expected to cost CA$87 million, with work currently underway. At this stage, the company was not able to provide a fixed date for the official opening. The development plan for the new Delta location was approved by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation about three years ago.  However, the local authorities did not give their go-ahead until 2019.
