Caesars Sportsbook to Enter New York Sports Betting Market

Caesars Sportsbook is preparing to enter the highly competitive New York State sports betting market.

Caesars Sportsbook will soon be entering the highly competitive New York State gaming market.  Caesars recently inked a lucrative partnership agreement with Madison Square Garden, being only the second gaming company to team up with the renowned venue after BetMGM.

The agreement will make the company the official sports betting partner of the New York Rangers, New York Knicks, MSG Networks, and Madison Square Garden (MSG) Arena.  As a partner, the sportsbook will gain access to New York’s sports betting market, thus allowing it to launch its services to the local gambling and sports betting fans.

Caesars Sportsbook Welcomed Abroad

In a statement, Ron Skotarczak, the Executive Vice-President of Marketing Partnerships at MSG Entertainment, saluted Caesars Sportsbook. Skotarczak praised the sportsbook for being a renowned name in the sports betting industry and welcomed them to the MSG Sports and MSG Entertainment groups. He added that the company is looking forward to utilising the new partnership optimally.

Thanks to the deal, Caesars Sportsbook has gained a designated spot at the Madison Square Garden, which will be open for all games of the New York Rangers and the New York Knicks, as well as additional events. Patrons of Caesars Rewards and the sportsbook will be able to access the site, which is up for an overhaul before the 2022-23 NHL and NBA seasons.

The new venue will carry the sportsbook’s branding and will feature special programming, guest appearances, giveaways, and more, all provided by Caesars Rewards. MSG Networks and Caesars Sportsbook also intend to start a TV series featuring Emmy-nominated comedian JB Smoove, which will be broadcast via MSG Networks.

Co-President of Caesars Digital, Eric Hession, noted that the sports betting brand is prepared to expand into New York State. He added that it’s an excellent opportunity for the company to partner with such an iconic NY brand.  Hession stated that the deal would result in Caesars Sportsbook being afforded prime display at MSG, including LED messaging, TV signage, GardenVision features, and activations on the court and ice.
